was February 1934. So, for
English-speaking readers this is our 50th anniversary. Tbe magazine was not
published one year in the Great Depression, which is why tbis issue is
volume 49. The German edition began with tbe August 1961 issue, the
French in June 1963; the Spanish and Dutch in 1968. The ltalian edition
commenced with the July 1982 issue. We welcome the Norwegian as our
seventh edition, beginning with this number.
