PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, SEPTEMBER 4, 1981
PAGE 2
As previously reported, we sent 75 of last year's freshmen students (now
sophomores) to Big Sandy in order to provide some continuity to the student
body there, and as examples to the approximately 120 new students accepted
at Big Sandy. Most of those sophomores will return to Pasadena next fall to
continue here as third-year students, unless, of course, Mr. Armstrong de
cides to make Big Sandy a four-year college. (Mr. Armstrong has mentioned
this as a possibility.)
Here are a few vital statistics concerning the makeup of the student body at
Pasadena: There are 71 seniors, 128 juniors, 93 sophomores, 206 freshmen
and three full-time diploma students. 128 are international students from
18 countries outside of the United States. This includes 55 from Canada, 23
from Australia, and 17 from England.
It looks as though the 1981-82 college year will be one of our best ever--if
not our very best year. We know that you ministers have already helped to
make it so by really working with the young people in your areas so that they
get a good fund of knowledg and a solid spiritual foundation even before
entering Ambassador College.
Thanks once again, to all of you ministers, for your part in helping to make
Ambassador College once again truly God's College. We on the faculty are
happy to have the wonderful opportunity of working with these very fine
students.
