PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, NOVEMBER 2, 1981
PAGE 15
It is quite evident that God has had His hand in this as well. My
income this year advanced over last year's by about fifteen hundred
dollars. And if the current rate continues {and it probably will), it
will come to over two thousand dollars. Never before have I had such a
raise!
R.S. {Candler, NC)
Enclosed is our first and third tithe check combined. We are truly
honored to be able to be a part of such a wonderful Work! This is and
has been our first time to pay third tithe and we have been blessed
more than we could ever express. Everything always gets paid on time
if we just rely on God. Third tithe is really a good way to exercise
our faith.
B • & D.C • {Lenoir, NC)
This is our third tithe year and God has blessed us very well, but
there was no way we could budget paying another tenth of our wage.
Last year we just barely got by since costs of heating oil, gasoline,
food and everything else have gone up so high. This year I have to
travel 100 miles to work and have made less money than I had by this
time last year. But God keeps blessing. we are healthy, happy, well
fed and have a nice, comfortable home as well as two cars that still
run fine.
During my last two third-tithe years I did not have enough faith and
conviction to pay third tithe all year long. Since then I have married
and my wife has four children living with us. We need a lot more money
than before and I still have the same job. We made up our minds to pay
third tithe this year even if we lost our home. God just keeps bless
ing--we have more now than ever.
C.L. {Delmar, DE)
It really is true that we cannot outgive God. This is our third tithe
year and we have been blessed in many ways. Usually my husband is laid
off about eight weeks in the winter, but this year, being a mild win
ter, he was only off about three weeks. And then this spring his boss
gave him a 101 raise in salary.
Mrs. G.M. {Kansas City, MO)
We are almost through our third tithe year and God has blessed us more
than ever--after many years of being in debt way over our heads. We
are selling our home and moving into a mobile home, paying off all
debts and getting new furniture and carpeting. I can't describe it
all in this letter, but God's way and obedience to His laws pays off
both materially and spiritually.
