PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, MARCH 5, 1982
PAGE 10
Mr. Gilder replied in return that "Mr. Wattenberg's amusing comments
epitomize the complacency and irrelevance of much Nee-Conservatism." These
people, to say nothing of the liberals, cannot see, said Gilder, that "our
greatest patrimony as a free ?eople is the religious values and moral laws
of the Judea-Christian tradition."
To the ministers and politicians of modern-day "enlightened" (to sin, that
is) America, God says: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: be
cause thou rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou
salt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of God, I
will also forget thy children.
As they were increased, so they sinned
against me: therefore will! change their glory into shame" (Hosea 4:6-7).
