PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, FEBRUARY 11, 1983

Meanwhile, do not expect the United Nations to take any clear-headed
actions with regard to the deteriorating conditions in Africa. The U.N.
General Assembly has an extremely lopsided view of the world as a whole and
Africa in particular. In an official publication recently sent to us by the
U.N., I happened to come across the list of official "Annual Days and
Weeks," observed yearly by the world body. Here they are:
21 March

Note that eight of the 14 observances deal in one way or another with
southern Africa. If only that part of the world could be "liberated," I
suppose there would be happiness and peace all over the earth.
