My God, my God,
why hast Thou for- sak- en
me,

They cried to Thee and Thou didst hear; they trust-ed Thee,

They sneer and toss their heads at me; make ug - ly mouths and
son? 0 why hast Thou not heard my cry, my an-guished bit - ter
God. For Thou de - liv-ered them from fear and they were not

mock:"'Let God de - liv - er him," they say, "He left

am just a worm and not
a man at all but
