We have also received permission to prepare fresh manuscrips on the
Happ y Marriag e and Childrearin g booklets for GTA's approval: Though
some of the existing material (the basic stuff) will be included,
there wil.l be much new i11formation. Since these booklets were
originally written in the SO's much new information has come to light.
The new booklets will be up to date, yet they will not "water down"
any of the basic material that is based upon the Bible. Of course
Mr. Armstrong will do final editing and approval on all copy.
And finally I have received permission to go ahead and print a new
booklet I've written called Cominq--A New A ¥ e: This will not replace
the Wonderful World 'romorrowoociklet
r
it wi l supplement iC- It
contains four chapters: This Present Evil World, The Transition, The
Millennium, Beyond the Millennium. That booklet is now in the layout
stage and should be printed in 4 to 6 weeks.
It will be announced
when ready.
Of course we have many other projects in the works, but limited man
power and resources limit the speed with which we can accomplish some
things. Thanks for your patience and support!

LITEPATURE CATALOG UPDATE It has now been over a year since we began
sending out the-literature catalog.
During the past twelve
.
mon
t
hs
we've made two major revisions. The latest revision is noteworthy
for a number of reasons:
1. Thirty percent reduction in printing costs.
2. Booklet format changed to a fold-out style.
3. Religious literature is now primarily advertised.
4. A tear-off card is now included for interested friend's
names and addresses.
This tear-off card for interested friends was added to the catalog
after a successful test with co-workers in September.
It's bringing
a good response with the literature catalog also.
(The program is
designed so that only people who are gnuinely nterested may become
subscribers). Out of approximately 6,600 responses which came in
during October, for example, we estimate that 4500-5000 new people
were referred to us.
In the past we have often found that our most
interested subscribers--who later became members--were referred to us
by friends. As time goes by we hope this small tear-off card will be
responsible for producing many high quality subscribers.

AMBASSl'DOR PRESS COMPETES WITH THE PROFESSIONALS AND WINS! The
January-February issue of QUEST/78 has been launched internationally
and is now on sale around the world with all the overseas editions
totalling 200,000 copies.
It is being produced to a very high
standard by the men and women of Ambassador Press in Radlett, England.
As with any new project, we had our problems but we did the job.
I
just returned from England where I helped pull together this first
printing on our own press. All our people showed there is no substitute
for a willing heart and an open mind. They moved mountains and produced
top quality for this first issue of 1978. For years we considered
ourselves amateurs among the pros of the printing world, but we have
now proved that we can play them at their own game and win!
